Boeing 747 Protoype - Museum of Flight, Seattle, WA

February 1969. Recess at Sacred Heart Elementary School in Bellevue, Washington. We were out on the asphalt playground playing football...In the distance we saw a plane with a big bump on it flying over downtown Bellevue. This big plane grew bigger and bigger as it flew in our direction. Mouths agape, all of us in awe of this huge airliner..this JUMBO JET passing over our heads.

Judging from the treetops there, it looks like it landed in your playground, too!

Nice image. It tells a great tail!

"great tail"! Badda-boom! The prototype is located at the Museum of Flight. I love that place..

Yeah, lots of fun, the MoF. My company had its Holiday Soiree there a few years ago and Angela and I took turns on the biplane dogfight simulator. Ripping good fun, that!

I just realized the location of the MoF is in the title, so my comment to you was somewhat redundant and I apologize for that redundancy...for I never want to be redundant, so I apologize for wasting your time with my redundant comment. My apologies.

I'm greatly relieved to receive this sincere apology from you. I was severely affronted and was unsure how to proceed having taken such umbrage.
